Emmure Re-Sign With Victory Records, Announce New Album
posted in: Music News • Rock
Metalcore titans Emmure have bucked the trend and re-signed with Chicago-based Victory Records. Where some artists have gone on record speaking ill of the label, Emmure have called home the house Tony Brummel built for more than half a decade, and in that time have bypassed at least two opportunities to leave.
In a press release, Emmure’s founding member Jesse Ketive spoke about the decision to stay with Victory:
We couldn’t be happier to announce that following Never Say Die! and the Asking Alexandria Tour we will be heading into the studio to work on the new album which is aimed for a Spring release! We have been working hard in between our rigorous world touring schedule this past year and a half and we can’t wait to unveil new material. We have resigned to Victory Records and there will be a lot of new things developing for EMMURE through the end of the year. Thank you for your constant support through the years and we promise to deliver one of the best EMMURE records to date. See you on tour.
The press release goes on to state that Emmure have begun working on new material and plan to release their next album in spring 2014. No further information regarding recording plans has been made available at this time, but we are continuing to follow this story and will bring you updates as they arise.
