One Republic Release "Something I Need" Video

One Republic are one of the few alternative rock bands to defy the odds and score numerous Top 40 singles during their time together. That streak of success seemed poised to change earlier this year, however, when the band’s third album, Native, debuted to slow sales and mixed critical response. Fortunately, it looks like the group’s luck is about to return with a quirky video for their latest single, “Something I Need.”

In the video for “Something I Need” one man’s love is put to the test when he and the woman he loves are chased by a killer dog. They nearly escape, but things take a drastic turn for the worse, and some tough decisions have to be made. I won’t give away the ending, but know it’s probably not what you’re expecting.
