Fall Out Boy Release "Just One Yesterday" Music Video

Most people consider music videos a result of an artist’s desire to further promote a new single that is currently fighting for rotation at radio or elsewhere. Fall Out Boy have turned that notion on its head in 2013, and instead have chosen to tell a narrative by creating videos for each and every song on their latest album. Five videos have surfaced before now, each adding a new chapter, and today we cross the halfway mark as chapter six debuts online.
So far in the tale of Save Rock And Roll, the members of Fall Out Boy have been kidnapped, tortured, chased, and beaten to the point of barely being able to move. “Just One Yesterday” opens on a slightly more positive note, with night having given way to day and the members, though separated, waking up to discover the bad guys have all gone. They each stumble towards what they hope will be safety, but as the song plays on we learn something even more devious than before is on the horizon. You can view the video below.
Save Rock And Roll proved once and for all that Fall Out Boy have staying power in the alternative rock realm. Now that the year is winding down however, people are beginning to wonder what they will come up with next. There are at least five additional chapters left to debut, but once those are live, what then? Stay tuned to Ourstage and we’ll updated you as soon as new information is made available.
