Protest The Hero are currently in the midst of their biggest year together to date. Having successfully crowdfunded a new album (with over $100,000 in donations) in the early months, PTH are now preparing to release their latest effort on October 29, after weeks of digital promotion. A new lyric video found its way online this afternoon, and those needing a hearty dose of metal goodness would be wise to give it a few moments of their time.

Packed with the same technical guitar work fans have come to expect from the group, with a slightly more straightforward rock sound, “A Life Embossed” continues Protest The Hero’s strong promotional single streak. The video tells the story of a man’s love for his pitbull in spite of the world’s protest, and the way it’s depicted is likely to leave many animal lovers teary eyed.
