A Day To Remember Stream 'Common Courtesy'

Now that their legal battle with Victory Records is over, all eyes are on A Day To Remember as they step out for the first time as independent artists with their new album, Common Courtesy.

It was still summer when A Day To Remember told fans that heir long-awaited new album would be available in the fall. After interviews and countless requests from fans for more information, the band revealed they were currently entangled in a legal battle with their label over who had the rights to release said album. ADTR claimed they had fulfilled their contractual obligations, but Victory claimed they still owed two more studio recordings. A judge ruled that both parties were somehow right, to an extent, and even though they still owe Victory two albums, ADTR are releasing Common Courtesy entirely on their own. The record was uploaded to the band’s online store at midnight, October 8th, and now you can stream the full record on Audiomack.

Considering that the album has only been available to press and public for a handful of hours, it feels too early to offer a full review of Common Courtesy. Based on what I have heard, longtime ADTR supporters will likely not be disappointed. It’s catchier than all their previous releases, and even though they’re growing out of their heavier sound, it seems these boys from Ocala still have plenty to offer.
