Dawes Release New Single, "From A Window Seat," New Album Trailer

Los Angeles’ mellowest sons Dawes have released a new single, “From A Window Seat.” That’s the name of the song, not the place from which they released the song. Writing is hard.
The song, from their upcoming LP Stories Don’t End (safe to assume they took this line from the Paul Williams song “Our World” as featured in Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas), is certainly among the more driving of Dawes songs. It is also notably more dry sounding, with less of the reverb that has characterized the band’s sound.
Dawes has also released a behind-the-scenes trailer for the album, which is due April 9. Check out the lyric video for the single below, and the album trailer and track-listing after the jump.
