Watch The New Video For PT Walkley's "Leeches"

Screen shot 2014-01-08 at 9.04.25 PMJessica Lauretti, one half of OurStage alt folk artists This Frontier Needs Heroes, has directed the video for fellow New Yorker PT Walkley‘s new single “Leeches.”

Walkley is a longtime fixture on the New York music scene, having fronted the much-loved indie rockers Track Rabbit before launching a solo career. He’s also composed songs and scores for several films, including four collaborations with Edward Burns.

“Leeches” is from Walkley’s forthcoming LP Shoulders, out this week. It is Lauretti’s third video as a director. About “Leeches,” she writes, “What was my inspiration? The quick answer is that it’s my attempt at making something mainstream and commercial while sort of making fun of things that are mainstream and commercial. Girls! Kittens! Whoop! ;)”
