Dollie Demi On The Beeb

posted in: Music News

We first came across the music of Dollie Demi when she hit our Best Of The Best chart earlier in 2017. She’s got a song up on the site called “New Girl,” a slice of self-described “bubblegum pop.” But the song is propelled by a bed of thickly distorted guitars − an indicator of the direction Demi and band would take on her new single, “Ruby Lips,” a song with a killer garage rock hook that showcases the singer’s undeniable confidence. Demi recently appeared on the BBC’s Introducing program(me) with Dean Jackson to promote the single and talk about her band and what’s coming next for them. Click here to listen to the single and interview. Slide to the 1h 04m mark.
