The Dear Hunter Announces Tour With String Quartet

posted in: Music NewsPopRock

Epic alternative rock band The Dear Hunter have carved a niche in the music scene for themselves with emotionally charged songwriting and lyricism that feels pulled from the greatest novel you’ve never read. Until now, seeing the band present their music complete with the string accompaniment so often heard on their recordings has been a pipe dream for most, but a new tour planned in the fall aims to change that once and for all.

Announced via a recent press release, The Dear Hunter will be hitting the road this fall accompanied by a string quartet. Most shows will be seated and will highlight the more lush, orchestral side of the band as they perform songs from their entire catalog. The band will also be joined by special guest performers on each date. You can view the full itinerary below.

The Dear Hunter’s new album, Migrant, is available now wherever music is sold.
