The Wonder Years Release "Passing Through A Screen Door Video"

Just two months after releasing their new album, The Wonder Years have returned to our headlines with the official video for “Passing Through The Screen Door.”
he Mitchell Wojcik and Samuel Gursky-directed video features shots of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, the place vocalist Dan Soupy Campbell, guitarist Nick Steinborn, bassist Josh Martin, guitarist Matt Brasch, guitarist Casey Cavaliere and drummer Matt Kennedy called home before embarking on their musical career.
In an interview with Absolute Punk, Campbell talked about the meaning behind the evocative song the video is based on.I call the song an atypical love song, because that’s what it is to me. It touches on the idea of societal pressure dictating the way you should live your life. The wife, the kids, the house. I know that those are all things I want, but I don’t know when, explained Campbell. And to be honest, I’m terrified of them. There’s so much that can go wrong. When you think about it, there’s so much responsibility. I don’t want to fuck up a kid’s life. Am I balanced enough, stable enough to help guide someone else through the world? Those are big ideas, they’re terrifying. I’m constantly running away from that.
