Moving Mountains Premiere "Eastern Leaves"

Indie rock outfit Moving Mountains have released a performance video featuring a brand new song off their forthcoming self-titled album.

Titled “Eastern Leaves,” the latest track to surface from Moving Mountains begins as little more than an atmospheric reflection of feelings and builds into a full on jam session filled with brilliant guitar work and heartfelt lyricism. The performance, which is shown in black and white, was captured at Telegraph studios in recent weeks. You can view the video at the end of this post.

We realize that the idea of hearing new music in live form first can be a dangerous game. All too often, bands premiere songs in a live setting that they have yet to master, and those mixed results can lead people to question that band’s quality. This is not the case with Moving Mountains, and if the video leaves any impression on you at all regarding their abilities to perform live it’s that they’re wonderfully talented musicians capable of weaving complex emotions into seemingly simple songs.
