Victory Records Welcomes Islander

South Carolina rock outfit Islander have been revealed as the latest band to join Victory Records’ historic roster.

Islander broke the news about their new home early Wednesday morning with an introductory video that can now be viewed at the end of this post. Their new EP, Pains, will be available on October 1st via Victory. One track, a press release later noted, will feature a guest appearance from Bad Brains.

The announcement of a new roster addition comes just a week after A Day To Remember publicly bashed the label over unpaid royalties. Despite this not being the first time Victory has been called out for not properly paying artists, many new acts join their ranks each year. We wish Islander the best as they begin this journey, and will keep you updated as new music becomes available.
