We The Kings Launch Indiegogo Campaign To Fund New Album
posted in: Pop • Rock
We The Kings rose to notoriety in the mid-2000s with the release of their breakout single, “Check Yes Juliet.” The group toured the world in the wake of the song’s success, and in the process moved from an indie label to a full blown major record deal. Two albums and countless tours later, the guys are ready to take back control of their career and have launched an Indiegogo campaign in hopes of self-releasing their next album.
So how much will a new We The Kings album cost to make? According to the campaign page, when all costs associated with recording, mixing, mastering, pressing, and of course pledge gifts are considered, the grand total needed to make the band’s fourth studio album a reality is $35,000. The campaign launched this morning and has already raised over $7000.
We The Kings will receive all funds raised even if their does not reach its goal, but considering they have a month to go it seems likely they’ll succeed. Click here to view the campaign page.
