The Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour Over “Deep Rift” In Band

posted in: Music NewsPopRock

It’s a dark day for fans of the Jonas Brothers.

Speaking exclusively to people, a rep for The Jonas Brothers has revealed there is a “deep rift” in the band. This has lead to the immediate cancellation of their upcoming fall tour, which was scheduled to begin on Friday, and issuance of refunds to all ticket holders.

“There is a deep rift within the band,” their spokesman, Jesse Derris, tells the publication. “There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”

This revelation is sure to be a bummer for fans, but it’s not necessarily a surprise. The brothers have each pursued their individual careers in recent years, but earlier this year they surprised fans with two new singles (“Poms Poms” and “First Time”) and news that a new album, V, was in the works. According to the rep, the fate of the album is now in the air as well.

None of the Jonas Brothers have spoken in regards to the cancellation just yet, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates.
