Thick As Thieves Go Viral With "Dangerous" Music Video

posted in: PopRockUrban

You may or may not know of Los Angeles-based rock/rap outfit Thick As Thieves, but by the end of this post there is a very high likelihood you will not be able to forget their name.

Recently, more and more artists have been hoping to find viral success by making odd (and sometimes horrendous) music videos that often have little or nothing to do with the content of the song. Many of these videos fail to take off of course, but every now and then a group comes along and hits the universal funny bone in such a way that people cannot help sharing their clip. Such is the case with “Dangerous,” the new video from Thick As Thieves. By combining their fun-loving sound with a video that features the group reenacting popular images from the site AwkwardFamilyPhotos, Thick As Thieves have created a hilarious video that is quickly helping the band gain notoriety. You can view the video below.

Thick As Thieves is made up of Nick Richey (MC), Sunday Lane (Lead Vocals/Piano), Max Helmerich (Vocals/Guitar), Jesse Dixon (Drums), Clint Ratliff (Vocals/Guitar) and Brennan McNally (Bass). Their EPĀ These Days is currently available on iTunes. Head over to Soundcloud to check out additional tracks from the group.
