iRock: Songs that just Rock!

With the spring season slowly rolling in, there has been a surge of fresh, rockin’ tunes hiting the Internet waves. Every week I take some time to look through the various Rock Channels (as well as the other channels here on OurStage) and try to find new music that peaks some interest. I don’t know about the rest of you, but the weather on the east coast hasn’t been all that great lately. As a result, I’ve been craving some tunes to fend off the damp air and grey skies. While some people create different mix tapes for each season, I’ve made a decision to make a weekly mix to scare off the end-of-winter blues.

So, what’s the perfect remedy to counteract my weather-induced malaise? Solid rock tracks by Say Vandelay, A Golden Era, The Days The Nights and Satellite Down.  Their vocal melodies and strong guitar riffs will surely cure what ails you. Give them a listen and see for yourself.
