Described by Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls as having “the soul of old country [but a] die hard rocker with some punk thrown in the mix,” Georgia-based Hannah Thomas isn’t afraid to play around with genres. Having released her latest album over a year ago, Thomas has been busy traveling the country, playing shows, and writing new material” but in order to help that last one come to fruition, she’ll need your help. Thomas has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund her latest album, and is seeking $10,500. You can also catch Thomas on tour this March and April across the U.S. (more…)
After nearly 17 years, Longineu Parsons has decided to part ways with Yellowcard. The band announced their drummer’s departure on Thursday, saying, “It has been announced that long-time drummer Longineu ‘LP’ Parsons III has left YELLOWCARD. Parsons’ exit leaves Sean Mackin as the sole original member. It is unclear what this means for the band’s upcoming tour dates, including their slot on this summer’s Warped Tour.
